Vine House successfully completed the £1,100,000 construction of a new first floor extension for the Ebor Academy Trust at Robert Wilkinson Academy in York.
The contract required a new lightweight timber frame construction to be designed and built over the existing school building to provide new facilities including classrooms, Arts & Music Centre and staff room.
The project was designed by Constructive Individuals architect practice based in York – http://www.constructiveindividuals.co.uk/
As well as providing additional space for over 100 pupils and staff the project was completed on time and to budget.
The new facility was officially opened by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, Mr Barry Dodd CBE.
" Vine House Construction undertook the works to construct a new first floor teaching and arts facility at Robert Wilkinson Primary Academy. Vine House Construction were selected following a vigorous interview and procurement procedure as they recognised and understood the needs and demands of the project. The project took place whilst the school was still in use so Health & Safety was a priority. I was delighted with the work Vine House Construction carried out for the Trust. The work was finished on time and nothing was too much trouble for Paul and his team. I have no hesitation in recommending them. https://rwprimary.co.uk/ "
